Warranty Agreement
Most units come with at least a 30-day parts warranty on factory defects from the date of purchase. Additionally, Less Stress Powersports, Inc. will provide a ______ month limited warranty where they will pay for _______% of parts and _______% of labor for needed repair work done during the warranty period.
The warranty excludes wear parts like the following items: tires, lights, plastics, bearings, seat, decals, brake pads or bands, shocks, and battery. Also, the warranty does not cover failures due to accidents or collision damage, abnormal strain, neglect, or abuse, improper assembly, improper maintenance, improper use (rental, racing, etc), or un-approved modifications to the unit. The owner’s manual explains how to operate and maintain your new unit, and our technical support team is available to answer questions during business hours.
Purchaser Responsibility
Purchaser understands the nature of ATV and Motorcycle related activities and acknowledges that Purchaser is qualified to operate the unit, and is in proper physical condition to participate in such activity. Purchaser fully accepts and assumes responsibility for all such risks, losses, costs, and damages incurred as a result of purchaser’s participation in riding activity. Purchaser agrees to assume all risks when allowing others to operate Purchaser’s unit. Purchaser is solely responsible to understand local and state laws for safe and legal operation of the vehicle. Purchaser understands that ATV’s and Motorcycles, by their nature, can be dangerous and should be properly maintained and inspected before riding. Standard safety practice s include wearing a helmet and checking for items like: loose bolts, properly functioning brakes, properly functioning mechanical parts, working lights, safety flag, etc BEFORE RIDING. All though units are assembled correctly before the time of the sale and inspected by both seller and purchaser, it is possible for nuts, bolts, cables, etc. to loosen and have to be adjusted. Purchaser takes full responsibility for any vehicle safety failures after day of the sale.
Parts & Labor
For Parts reimbursement, we reserve the right to test the defective part first before providing a replacement part. We also reserve the right to require a picture or pictures of the vehicle in order to verify damage caused problems. We will gladly ship out defective parts in a timely fashion right to consumers (a mechanic shop/store is NOT required for Parts reimbursement), however, we will not “guess” on parts. We want to set our customers up for success, and do not want to ship out the wrong part. Shipping costs are not included on Parts reimbursement for warranty. We do stock most mechanical parts at our facility. We are happy to sell parts at a fair market price anytime if they are not considered defective or covered by our warranty. Most part requests take 2-3 days to ship out. Once shipped, we will provide tracking #s via email or txt. If a part is out of stock, all though rare, some part orders can take as much as 2-3 weeks to ship out.
For Labor reimbursement on warranty issues, work must be approved by Less Stress Powersports BEFORE it is done. This can be handled through email or by phone. The mechanic shop you take your vehicle to can contact us directly. Also, we do not reimburse labor for “backyard” mechanic work. For Labor warranty reimbursement, work must be performed at a bona fide mechanic shop and must be approved first.
